A team of five Year 12 students are visiting nine primary schools this week to deliver Science Shows. On Monday, we started with Grouville in the morning and JCG Prep in the afternoon. Next up, St Saviours, Grands Vaux, First Tower, St Mary’s, Rouge Bouillon, Plat Douet and Trinity school. During each show, Year 5 students are learning about the arrangements of particles in gases, liquids and solids, and they will see how these can lead to (controlled!) explosions. They are also shown visually how much energy is contained in just one jellybaby and how slow reactions can be speeded up, with monstrous consequences!
