Jersey College for Girls (JCG) is delighted to announce an exceptional set of GCSE results for the academic year, marking a year of remarkable achievement for our students. We are proud to report that 61.3% of all grades awarded were at the highest band of Grades 9-7, demonstrating the continued depth of achievement and the high standards of teaching and care at JCG. In fact, the average grade for this cohort was a grade 7, equivalent to an A in the old currency.
Furthermore, 96.5% of all grades were at the strong pass of grades 9-5, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff. We are also pleased to share that the overall pass rate for this year’s GCSE cohort stands at an impressive 99.3%.
Carl Howarth, Principal, commented, “We are incredibly proud of all our students for their achievements this year. Their results are a reflection of the hard work, perseverance, and ambition that they have shown throughout their time at JCG. We are equally grateful to our staff and our families, whose unwavering support and dedication have played a crucial role in helping our students achieve their best.”
These results not only highlight the academic excellence at JCG but also underscore our commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to make the world better.
